Aurburn – Founder

Aurburn is the founder of Icy Tech Solutions and a multidisciplinary computer and systems engineer from Tallahassee, Florida, with a love for technology and a desire to help others. 

With nearly a decade of experience bridging engineering, education, and mentorship, she combines her technical expertise with her love for teaching to empower students and professionals alike. Her background in computer engineering and systems design has shaped her approach to solving complex problems and creating technology that makes a real-world impact.

Aurburn is also dedicated to STEM education and community outreach—leading workshops, tutoring programs, and camps that make technology accessible and exciting for learners of all ages. As a private STEM tutor, she helps K–12 and college students strengthen their skills in computer engineering, math, and software fundamentals.

When she’s not tutoring or designing and upgrading PCs for clients, Aurburn enjoys developing video games, creating music, and exploring gourmet cooking. She believes that technology and education together can inspire creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning whether your an kid or adult.

K–12 Tutoring & STEM Enrichment

Since 2017, Aurburn has provided private STEM tutoring for K–12 students across Florida, focusing on math, science, and computer fundamentals. She has worked with learners in Algebra, Calculus, and introductory programming, creating engaging, hands-on lessons that make complex topics accessible and fun.
Through these sessions, Aurburn has helped students strengthen their confidence, prepare for exams, and develop a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.

Mentorship & Leadership

As a former lead ambassador for a college of science and technology, Aurburn served as a bridge between students, educators, and the community.
She has mentored high school and college students interested in pursuing STEM degrees—offering guidance on research, coursework, and professional development.
Her leadership experience reflects her belief that education and technology are most powerful when shared.

As a college-level tutor, Aurburn has supported undergraduate and adult learners in engineering and computing subjects, including Circuits, Digital Logic, Differential Equations, and College Physics.
Her approach blends technical mastery with mentorship—helping students not only understand the material but also see how engineering concepts apply to real-world systems and innovation.

Alongside tutoring, Aurburn continues her work as a systems and computer engineer, contributing to complex system architectures and technical projects at the national level.
She also channels her creativity into custom PC design and upgrades for clients, game development, and music production—a unique blend of art, engineering, and mentorship that defines her multidisciplinary approach.

Workshops & Community Outreach

Passionate about expanding access to technology, Aurburn has organized and led STEM workshops and summer programs for both youth and adults.
These include computer literacy classes, game design workshops, and introductory programming sessions, often focused on empowering underrepresented groups in STEM.
Her workshops have introduced participants to creative technology projects, resulting in students winning research awards and discovering career paths in computer science and engineering.
